    • Your PBX needs to be registered with us before you can purchase commercial modules or receive paid support assistance for it. We assign each registered deployment a unique Deployment ID. You will be prompted to enter this ID whenever you purchase a commercial module or open a support ticket for PBX-related support. Deployment IDs are unique to specific hardware and can't be used on a different machine.
    • To Register a New Deployment in the Portal:

 

  • Telecom & Datacom Cards, Vega Gateways, Session Border Controllers, Netborder Gateways, Phones and Express for Lync

    • Your Sangoma Products needs to be registered with us before you can receive paid support assistance for it.  Every Sangoma Product has a unique Serial Number (or License Key of Software only), when Support Services are purchased, Sangoma assigns the Support Contract to the Serial Number. You will be prompted to enter this Serial Number whenever you open a support ticket for Sangoma Product related problem. Serial Numbers are unique to specific hardware and can't be used on a different machine.
    • When you request support, the Serial Number will be required, the Support Contract will be pulled from the portal to ensure the Support Contract is active, so make sure you keep this information updated for us. Please see the wiki on how to open a support ticket.
    • To Register a Serial Number in the Portal:

      • Select ProductsProduct Registration → Register in the navigation menu.

      • Enter the Product Details
        • Customer: Enter or Ensure your Customer or Organization Name
        • Product:  Select the Model of the Sangoma Product
        • Serial Number: Enter the Serial Number or License Key of the Sangoma Product
        • Purchase Date: Enter the purchase date
        • Purchased From:  For your own records, enter where you purchased the unit
        • Description: Enter any unique description for your reference

 

      • Select ProductsProduct Registration → List in the navigation menu.
        • Enter the Serial Number, Model Name or Serial Number of the device you are looking for.  The Portal will Search for the closest match.

      • Once the Search is complete, a list of devices will be shown, here you can select View or Edit.

      • Edit any existing Product Registration
        • Customer: Enter or Ensure your Customer or Organization Name
        • Product:  Select the Model of the Sangoma Product
        • Serial Number: Enter the Serial Number or License Key of the Sangoma Product
        • Purchase Date: Enter the purchase date
        • Purchased From:  For your own records, enter where you purchased the unit
        • Description: Enter any unique description for your reference
