Updated for 2.6.22.X kernels and above
T1/E1 Tapping High Impedance not working on MAXIM (A101/2/4/8D) Cards
For all channel bank/T1 interconnects please use the 3.2.X drivers.
(The E&M Wink/ MFC R2/ RBS/ CAS supports is broken on 2.3.4.X drivers for latest MAXIM (A101/2/4/8D) cards.)
Fixed PPP/CHDLC protocols with IPV6
Current: Wanpipe 2.3.4-X
Broken RBS support for all Maxim/Dallas cards: A101dm/2dm/4dm/8dm!
For fixed rbs support you must use latest 3.2.0 Stable release.
Broken support for 2.6.20 kernels and above! The 2.6.20 kernels changes were quite large, thus 2.6.20 support is now offered only by latest 3.2.0 release.
Current: Wanpipe Beta 3.1.0
Warnings on GCC 4.X : These warnings can be ignored, will be fixed in next release.
Fixed RBS and CAS signalling for MAXIM cards.
Fully functional 2.6.20 kernel support
Current: Wanpipe 2.3.4-9 and 2.3.4-8
Broken RBS support for all Maxim/Dallas cards: A101dm/2dm/4dm/8dm!
For fixed rbs support you must use latest 3.1.0 Beta release.
Broken support for 2.6.20 kernels and above! The 2.6.20 kernels changes were quite large, thus 2.6.20 support is now offered only by latest beta 3.1.0 release.
Current: Wanpipe 2.3.4-7
- MFC/R2 does not work with A101d/A102d/A108d cards. Temporary drivers with fix can be downloaded from:
ftp://ftp.sangoma.com/linux/custom/3.1/wanpipe-3.1.0.p16a.tgz
Current: Wanpipe 2.3.4-1
- Hardware DTMF doesnt work
- WAN Protocols:
Cannot assign IP dynamically on 2.6.17 kernels. The 2.6.17 kernel removed functions used to change IP address dynamically from the kernel. Need to write a user space script that will do this dynamically.
This problem affects PPP protocol in Dynamic IP mode.
Stable Data Drivers
Current: Wanpipe 2.3.3-3
- Does not compile on 2.6.17 kernels and above.
Beta Drivers
Wanpipe-beta10-2.3.4
- WAN Protocols:
Cannot assign IP dynamically on 2.6.17 kernels. The 2.6.17 kernel removed functions used to change IP address dynamically from the kernel. Need to write a user space script that will do this dynamically.
This problem affects PPP protocol in Dynamic IP mode.
Wanpipe-beta7-2.3.4
- A200 cards: Occasional dropped calls fixed !
Pulse Dialing diabled, need to integrate it into zaptel so that zaptel indicates to TDM drivers that the line uses pulse dialing.
Wanpipe-beta6-2.3.4
- A200 cards: Occasional dropped calls on FXO ports [fixed in beta7-2.3.4 drivers].
- A200 cards: When used against some telcos, Asterisk crashes on incoming calls if callerid is enabled [fixed in beta7-2.3.4 drivers].
- WAN Protocols: Cannot assign IP dynamically on 2.6.17 kernels.
Wanpipe-beta4-2.3.4
- A104d: Faxing errors when using reference clocking. [fixed in beta6-2.3.4 drivers].
- A200: Analog cards reach a state where outgoing calls are fine, but incoming calls are not intercepted. Card performs normally after a wanrouter restart.
- Does not compile on 2.6.17 kernels [fixed in beta602.3.4 drivers]
