Wanpipe LINUX Configuration wizard for Asterisk
The wancfg_zaptel utility is now able to create full wanpipe config, zaptel config and zapata config files. This utility will work for ALL Sangoma cards: A101/2/2d/4/4d/8d/200/400. For T1/E1 port wancfg_zaptel will ask few questions relating to front end configuration. For Analog cards there are no questions asked configration is automatic.

- Run:
/usr/sbin/wancfg_zaptel
Based on your selections wancfg_zaptel configurator will create:
1. /etc/wanpipe/ config files
2. /etc/zapte.conf files
3. Optionally /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf files.
- Once wancfg_zaptel is finished your environment will be fully configured and setup to work with asterisk.
- Proceed to write your dial plan based on /etc/zaptel.conf and /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf
- End of Wanpipe/Zaptel configuration
- To start wanpipe & asterisk run:
- wanrouter start #starts all configured wanpipe ports
- ztcfg #configures zaptel (usually done by above wanrouter start)
- asterisk -g #starts asterisk
