JOB DESCRIPTION
Sangoma is looking for a talented, self motivated QA software engineer to join our fast paced, ever growing organization. The successful candidate will join our QA team and will have opportunity to learn and work with the latest Sangoma’s VoIP and WAN technologies. Responsibilities will also include QA testing, QA procedures, automated regression testing development.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Programming Languages: C, Perl, Shell (C++ and Shell scripting an asset).
- Knowledge of Linux (Install/setup/drivers an asset)

- Experience in VoIP and Telephony Systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Some duties you will be tasked with:
- 1st and 2nd Level Technical Support – VoIP (Asterisk®), WAN/IP Networking
- Quality Assurance Testing
- Linux/BSD Application scripting and maintenance
- WAN Protocol support and maintenance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Eager and quick to learn new technologies
- A self starter who is highly motivated
- An excellent oral communicator with a strong grasp of the English language
Required Software Skills:
- Programming languages: C, (C++ and Shell scripting an asset)
- Knowledge of Linux (install/setup/drivers an asset)
- Knowledge of routing and computer networks including IP/WAN networking
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of networking protocol stacks: PPP, Frame Relay, CHDLC, ATM
- Socket programming skills
- Experience with VoIP and telephony systems
- Experience with Asterisk® Software based PBX
