FreeSWITCH Windows Installation
(This configuration is not officially supported)
In order to install FreeSWITCH on a windows system, you would first need to download and install Visual Studio Express. Visual Studio Express is available as a free download from Microsoft. Click on the link below to download the latest version of Visual Studio Express:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downloads/#2010-All
In order to checkout the latest FreeSWITCH from their GIT repository, you would need to install following:
The next step would be to do the following:
- Install and Configure the Wanpipe Driver
- Install the Signalling Module
- Compile and Install FreeSWITCH & Sangoma_ISDN (FreeTDM)
In order to install the wanpipe driver, you must download the driver from the link below:
ftp://ftp.sangoma.com/WINDOWS/AFT/wanpipe_6_0_42_1.zip
Please refer to the link below for a PDF with instructions on how to install and configure our driver:
ftp://ftp.sangoma.com/WINDOWS/AFT/INSTALL.pdf
For configuration go into device manager and there will be a "Sangoma Communications Devices" group. Find the hardware abstraction driver for the port you would like to configure then right click on it and go to properties. Once in properties go to the "Groups of channels" tab and select the interface listed in the "channels used by each group" section. Then right click and click on "Group Properties". Once in the group properties just simply configure the port as the picture below shows.

(Sample T1 PRI Config)
Signalling Module Installation
In order to install the signalling module, you must navigate to the link below:
ftp://ftp.sangoma.com/WINDOWS/libsng_isdn/
Once at the ftp location, download and install the latest signalling module available.
Once downloaded, run the executable and follow the instructions. The install should take only a few moments.
