Self Test

    Self test page must be run on initial installation or on any hardware upgrade.  It will run a battery of tests on Sangoma TDM and Transcoding hardware.  

    It is safe to run a Self test at any time.  The existing configuration will be saved and restored after the Self Test is complete.

    All services during the Self Test will be stopped. 

    The battery of tests will used to detect:

    1. Defective TDM hardware
    2. Defective Media Transcoding hardware
    3. Miss-configured system device drivers
    4. PCI Interrupt errors
    5. Motherboard System issues 

     

    To start the self test

    1. Select Netborder SS7 from side Menu
    2. Select Operations -> Self Test
    3. If in North America select T1
      If not in North America select E1
    4. Click Start Self Test
