Introduction

 

  • 4 ports of FXO and 1 Port of FXS
  • fixed design, no physical modules to deal with
  • Supports Asterisk®, FreeSwitchas well as other Open Source and proprietary PBX, Switch, IVR, and VoIP gateway applications
  • synchronizes perfectly with digital T1/E1 cards and the PSTN atomic clock for error-free fax and modem passthrough and superior voice quality over T1 and E1 lines
  • uses Wanpipe Driver which includes a suite of configuration, operation and debugging utilities

Installation and Configuration

 

Linux:     -> Asterisk
               -> FreeSWITCH
               -> API support: Voice API, Wan IP, Multi-Link PPP, HDLC, X25

Hardware Configuration


A single B600 card supports 4 Analog FXO ports, and 1 FXS.

  For FAX Sync:

connect the fax sync cable to jumper JP6 as shown in the diagram below

Port Mapping

The B600 has 3 RJ11 connectors.  There are two lines in each connector, only 1 for the FXS port. The first line is on the inner pair and the second line is on the outer pair. See the diagram below for details for the numbering for each line on the card.
